![]() I found that this deck does not actually put that many cards into the graveyard so Gurmag Angler needing to delve one more card is a relevant cost. I personally prefer a 2-2 split of the delve creatures. Past that, the main deck is always the same – even with the exact numbers of the manabase! If you look at the top performing lists, you will find that the only difference between all of the main decks is whether they play a 3-1 or 2-2 split of Gurmag Angler and Tasigur, the Golden Fang. Hollow One is one of the most consolidated decks in Modern. ![]() That left me with Hollow One, which I felt was appropriate as the deck was capable of some busted draws, while also not being as affected by graveyard hate as Dredge and Bridgevine. I wrote off Bridgevine because there is quite a lot of graveyard hate running around at the moment and the deck is very all-in, and I disliked Mardu Pyromancer because I generally do not enjoy playing midrange decks. Since I love Faithless Looting, I decided to explore other decks that utilise the card, and came across the Bridgevine, Mardu Pyromancer and Hollow One decks. ![]() Ultimately though, I realised that I am most known for my content on Dredge, so it only seemed appropriate that I would take this opportunity to discuss the deck one last time.Įxcept, instead, I will be discussing another Modern deck! In theory, DX11 is outdated compared to Vulkan, which is a much newer and more regularly updated API. DX11 is made by Microsoft and Vulkan is made by the Khronos Group, which is a consortium of many major companies, including Nvidia, AMD, Apple, Arm, Epic, Intel, Valve, and more. ![]() What's the difference between DX11 and Vulkan?īoth are graphical APIs which manage the underlying communication between the game and your PC's hardware. I didn't run into this issue with DX11 enabled. Vulkan seems to take on the OS refresh rate, and that can mean you're left limiting your frame rate needlessly in-game. If you're finding that Baldur's Gate 3 is locked to 60fps with Vulkan enabled, you may have to dip into your graphics drivers or Windows display settings to ensure your monitor is set to its fastest maximum refresh rate. Here's what to do if Vulkan is locked to 60fps I'm yet to run into any issues or crashes despite clocking in quite a few hours of benchmarking so far, though the game is absolutely massive so time will tell if that sort of stability will remain for the entire campaign. I've not been able to test Intel's Alchemist graphics cards, however, it seems likely that Vulkan will provide the best results. I would use this feature only if you're struggling to hit a steady 60fps.įor Intel graphics cards, Vulkan is likely the better choice. Unfortunately, this is an older version of the technology than we'd like, and the visual quality takes a significant dip with it enabled, even when set to Ultra Quality mode. If you're in need of extra performance, FSR 1.0 is your only option with an AMD graphics card. In that case, DX11 is a suitable alternative and performs well. I've not run into these issues in my testing, and they may no longer be present in the launch version of the game, but it's something to bear in mind if you do find visual errors occurring while you play. This game is still very hard to beat, just like it's original counterpart. You'd then fall down through the wall, which is annoying, albeit hilarious. It makes the game slightly easier in that regard, and there are also a few glitches I noticed with Knuckles' wall-climbing where you'd climb up a wall and lift yourself up a ledge in the middle of the wall. However, it's even more fun to act on those decisions! Difficulty: This game is getting slightly demoted in the difficulty field due to having more characters. "Should I do this Zone as Sonic? What about Knuckles? Or maybe I'll just carry Sonic and Knuckles OVER the Zone as Tails!" Ask yourself that before you play a zone, it's very fun to weigh your options. Remember, you don't play the classic Sonic games for the story! :P Depth: This game, with the addition of the Heroes concept, offers you more options than the original did gameplay-wise. Sound: I also gave this an eight, simple because Sonic 2's music is incredibly catchy and cool. Since these weren't even in Sonic 2 to begin with, I gave it an 8 for adding graphically new graphical graphics that are graphically appealing. But let's get to the real review, shall we? Graphics: I originally thought about giving this a 7, but then I noticed the new sprites for the Sonic 3 shields. He also gets to use the Homing Attack when he gets the standard Blue Shield, which is AWESOME. Each character has their abilities from their classic Sega Genesis days, but Sonic got a few updates to make him play like he did in Sonic 3. It pretty much combines Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic Heroes by adding a new mechanic to the game, which is the ability to actively switch between Sonic Tails and Knuckles, just like in Sonic Heroes. The members were either Speed Type, Flying Type, or Power Type (it's been a while since I played Sonic Heroes so don't complain if I got that wrong.) The recommendation is to go with a Raspberry Pi 4, but any version works (just the performance would be slower).
